Farooq | فاروق<p>Tomorrow is the last day I have physical access to my Linux machine. Then the coworking place I have located my PC in, will be closed for <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Nowruz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nowruz</span></a> holidays. And I will be stuck with my <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/HP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HP</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Elitebook" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Elitebook</span></a> laptop running <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/FreeBSD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FreeBSD</span></a> for 6 days straight. And it'll be my development machine. I have plans to setup <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Tailscale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tailscale</span></a> to remotely access my PC(I hope their network admins won't mind!) which I have to finish tomorrow.</p><p>So the question is, how will be my FreeBSD days experience? Will I give up and install <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>? For starters, I haven't found a GUI application to setup <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Bluetooth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bluetooth</span></a> headphones on my <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/BSD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BSD</span></a> machine.</p><p><a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/DailyNote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DailyNote</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/freesoftware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>freesoftware</span></a></p>
Farooq | فاروق<p>I thought it will be quite lovely to do `fd -x rm '{}' node_modules' in my project's playground folder and then see tons of disk space being freed.</p><p>But after I waited for it to complete, I realized it wiped me entire projects. And I have btrfs. Time to reboot into live media to recover data.</p><p><a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Unix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Unix</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/DailyNote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DailyNote</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/btrfs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>btrfs</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/cli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cli</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/terminal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>terminal</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/commandline" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>commandline</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/GNUlinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GNUlinux</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/gnu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gnu</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/gnu_linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gnu_linux</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/mistake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mistake</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/mistakes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mistakes</span></a> <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/dailymistake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dailymistake</span></a></p>
Farooq Karimi Zadeh<p>As my findings in my <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/GeneticProgramming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GeneticProgramming</span></a> research are becoming more and more thorough, I have started to document them. The main problem in my runs is still lack of diversity.</p><p>PS: It could be nice if we could write papers in some dialect of <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/markdown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>markdown</span></a> </p><p>PS2: These writings are for myself to remember where am I and where I'm going. No academic paper yet :)</p><p><a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/ML" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ML</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/MachineLearning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MachineLearning</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/WakeWordDetection" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WakeWordDetection</span></a></p><p><a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>research</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/artificialIntelligence" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>artificialIntelligence</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/EvolutionaryComputation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EvolutionaryComputation</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/dailynote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dailynote</span></a></p>
Farooq Karimi Zadeh<p>Alright. In my <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/GeneticProgramming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GeneticProgramming</span></a> research, I'm making some progress. I have reached better fitness values by increasing population size of each deme in exchange for decreasing number of demes. Also generating small number mel frequency cepstral coefficients really helps with better fitness values.</p><p><a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/MachineLearning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MachineLearning</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/DailyNote" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DailyNote</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/Research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Research</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/CS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CS</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/ComputerScience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ComputerScience</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AI</span></a> <a href="https://blackrock.city/tags/ArtificalIntelligence" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ArtificalIntelligence</span></a></p>
