I'm posting about Teochew & Vietnamese revolutionaries this week. I wasn't taught anything about the heroes & heroines from both of my cultural backgrounds because I grew up in Canada, with white colonial education. My mind was heavily colonized by that. I started the decolonization of my mind journey in the 90s & am going to be doing it for rest of my life because the colonial programming runs deep.
I want people to learn more about the brave #Chinese & #Vietnamese people who took many risks & sacrificed a lot for their peoples. I want people to learn that my peoples & our ancestors, from both my backgrounds, weren't uneducated savages & we didn't need to be controlled by colonizers or imperialists. Many of our ancestors & their comrades were strong revolutionaries, who were very intelligent, dignified & courageous.

I finally 
released a major update to my Emacs package
that allow to search with toneless pinyin in Chinese 
characters and in normal pinyin text. 
It is \"isearch submode\".
You just press: C-s nu, and it will find for you 女 and nǚ.
By default it looks for both pinyin and Chinese characters,
but you can switch to pinyin with M-s p and to characters
with M-s h keys.
Code uses translation table (named Quail map) from Quail
minor mode (input multilingual text easily).
It is possible to adopt this code to many other
languages. ☆
I spent one month to code this (⚆i⚆) and I am going to use

The tariffs on #Chinese #BYD #EV's are necessary b/c #China is engaging in "dumping"... the illegal practice of selling something for less that it costs to make it in order to drive the competition out of business.
#Mexico can survive that b/c they don't have their own Mexican Owned EV manufacturers.
